Permanently Delete Messages On Facebook
Step 1. Click the "Messages" symbol on your Facebook homepage. The Messages symbol lies in the top left edge and also looks like 2 tiny overlapping speech bubbles.
Step 2. Click the conversation consisting of the message or messages you wish to erase. If it is not provided on the initial Messages pop-up window, click "See All" to see every one of your private messages. Click the conversation on that particular listing containing the message you want to remove.
Step 3. Click the "Actions" button and then click "Delete Messages" on the Actions drop-down menu.
Step 4. Click the check boxes located next to the messages you want to erase.
Click "Delete" and after that click "Delete Messages" to confirm that you intend to erase the chosen messages.
Suggestion
To erase an entire conversation rather than specific messages, click "Delete Conversation" after clicking the Actions menu in the third action.
Warning
Deleting a personal message in your Messages inbox does not delete it from the inbox of your conversation partner.
